I'm out at the Catalyst West conference for a couple days with the guys from Portable Church ... this is me wandering around.

Ok . . . so on Friday we got a new video camera at the Mini-Yo-We dinner. (Our other one is on the fritz.) This one is a lot easier for the kids make videos themselves on. This is our first foray into using the new deal. Whadda think?

Welcome to Fraser!

Today, we welcomed a new little friend into our family named Fraser! He's winning his way into our hearts with his quiet personality and gentle approach to life. We're celebrating his 10 weeks birthday and Hudson's 10 years! What a fantastic pair they are making so far!

Friday Night Lights

We've done a lot of really great things in our times in Nashville visiting my parents. My parents are always kind and generous hosts! I would have to say that my all time favourite was tonight when we got to see my sister and her high school band play during a Friday night football game. To top off a great performance by the band at half time the Bison won 28 - 10 over the Greenbrier Bobcats.

Is it possible that Hunter is really 5! It seems like just yesterday that our little buddy joined our clan. We love you Hunter! Thank you for all the joy you add to our family.

kidstuf @ Trinity

One of the reasons I am so excited about my new role is this churches focus on Family Ministry. Above is a trailer from their monthly event for parents and kids called "kidstuf". It's designed to help parents and kids talk about values that are important! The season kick off for kidstuf is on September 8th! We'll be sitting close - singing, danceing, laughing and learning!

Haley got to go to Mini-Yo-We for three weeks this summer! We are so thankful for the time that she spent at Camp. This video is a composite of the closing programs from Junior Camp. There is singing, dancing, jokes - it's like a great variety show!

On Friday Christine was helping Mike with some capital campaign stuff at Mini-Yo-We. So it meant we got to wander around and talk with people about the good things going at Camp.

We're at Mini-Yo-We for the week. Rich is speaking at Wake Camp. It's been a lot of fun so far! There are worse places to spend a week in the summer!

Now that is a little awkward! Last week I was having a creative block while doing some design work. I took a break to watch one of my fave video podcasts - Jet Set Show. Turns out they were having a contest asking for people to submit videos of people dancing at their desks! I didn't win the contest but I am getting a lovely parting gifts - a dvd from Elastic Illusion!
